Organic Genetics has entered into lease agreements in relation to two separate locations, giving us the opportunity to grow both THC-rich medicinal cannabis and CBD-rich hemp in greenhouses.
Our Glasshouse Location, Auckland
Our Auckland location consists of a 2,000 m² Venlo Glasshouse. With two natural water sources onsite and a nutrients mixing room, our site is set to grow premium medicinal cannabis flower for both local and international markets.
Growing in an outdoor glasshouse means we can take advantage of year-round cultivation, which opens the door to more market potential.
This location has the capacity to produce up to 14,000 kg (30,000 pounds) of dried flower per annum which has a current minimum retail value of around $44mil.
We plan for our Greenhouse location to become vertically integrated and encompass the entire growth cycle for cannabis from seed to sale. From harvesting to manufacturing, extraction, purification onto fulfillment.
We also have the ability to house a nursery onsite where we can supply seeds and/or plants to other local cultivators.
Our Outdoor Grow Site, Northland
At our outdoor grow site located in Northland, we’re able to utilise over 50 ha of flat land to grow our premium line of CBD-rich hemp plants.
These will be housed in over 10 greenhouses, with an output of 2-3 crop cycles per year. We are working closely with a local trust as well as the community to ensure not only a profitable grow, but a boost to Northland’s economy whilst protecting the mauri (lifeforce) of the whenua (land).
Our partners are equally excited about the opportunities and value this can bring to their families and community.
We will also be working closely with them on our regenerative practices which will play a huge role in the overall management of the land. Together we hope to help provide long-term enviro-economic stability to Northland and become pioneers in the industry for regenerative horticulture.

Organic Genetics has a signed agreement in place for our outdoor location in Northland, a joint venture with Aupōuri Ngāti Kahu Te Rarawa (ANT) Trust.
Proposed to begin development in 2023. Organic Genetics aims to utilise up to 50 ha of flat land to grow our premium line of CBD-rich hemp plants, housed in over 10 greenhouses, with a projected output of 2-3 crop cycles per year.
Organic Genetics and ANT Trust aim to work closely with the local community, developing social initiatives such as our contract to give back a 2% profit share to the Kaitaia Community as well as drive economic growth, provide jobs and help improve the lives of local residents all whilst protecting the mauri (lifeforce) of the whenua (land).
ANT Trust is equally excited about the opportunities and value this can bring to their families and community. Regenerative practices will play a huge role in the overall management of the land and Organic Genetics aims to work closely with (ANT) Trust, to provide long-term enviro- economic stability to Northland, and work to become pioneers in the industry for regenerative horticulture.
